MXBLACKLIST reads DNS and existing blocklist data. It does not submit spam reports, upload messages, request new listings or send removal requests. Any review request is your own action on the provider’s website.
Use this educational service as one source of evidence, not as authorization for a change or a guarantee of mail delivery.
Check What You Are Entitled to Investigate
Use public, relevant targets and avoid confidential names or customer information. Do not overload the service, evade its limits, automate bulk reconnaissance or use results to facilitate abuse.
Respect the Budgets
The shared allowance is 60 HTTP requests and 6 diagnostic lookup units per source IP in a rolling minute. Report costs and waiting instructions appear in the CLI / API guide. No account or client can bypass these limits.
Independent Sources and Interpretation
External providers control their own data and removal decisions. Results can change, and DNS failures can prevent a conclusion. A listing does not prove an individual is a spammer; an unlisted result is not a safety or delivery guarantee.
Verify Before Changing Production
The site does not configure records, send mail, test SMTP connectivity or remove listings. Verify changes against your actual mail-provider configuration and appropriate technical references. The service has no uptime commitment.
